CB West is very proud to see teacher and coach, Kiki Bell, be honored at the 2022 Penn Relays. Kiki will be recognized as the High School Girls Track & Field Honorary Referee during the collegiate and professional competition on Saturday April 30, 2022.
Below is the bio that will be included in the program at the Penn Relays
Kiki Bell is in her 22nd year of coaching cross country, indoor track & field, and spring track & field at Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown, PA. During those years, the young women from CBW have amassed continued successes both in the field and on the track. She teaches English at the high school and is also a proud alum.
Her dominant State Championship 4x4 streak began in year 2005 with a victory . Every year since then, she has had a team medal in the finals of the 4x400 at the State Championship – outright winning the State 4x400 title in 5 of those years.. Her athletes have earned many, many state medals and State individual or relay championships. Bell’s 4x400 teams have frequently made appearances in the Penn Relay’s Philadelphia Area Final for the 4x400 and she has had multiple 4x800’s advance to Penn’s prestigious Championship of America finals.
In spring of 2021 her team won the State Championship while adding more state medalists and state champions. She was consequently awarded Coach of the Year by the Pennsylvania Track & Field Coaches Association, as well as earning Coach of the Year by the National Federation of High School Associations: PA State Track Coach of the Year, and additionally was named Coach of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association.
She credits her longevity and successes to her athletes and her coaching staff: Kevin Munnelly, Ervin Hall, and James Crawford. Additionally, her two beautiful daughters and future runners: Pippa and Tallulah, as well as her extremely supportive husband, Mike.
